The Garden of the Maidens was constructed in the midst of the 18th century and is much like a modern landscaped garden that is circumspect and errorless. In this garden one can view cascading artificial fountains, sparkling pools, trimmed lawns and beautiful flowerbeds.
There are walls and large shady trees throughout the garden as well as four small pools that enhance the appearance of the place. An interesting aspect regarding this garden is that no pumps or other gadgets are used to create pressure in the fountains and these operate naturally as the water rises upwards due to water pressure.
The lakes inside the garden are filled by the monsoon waters. The Lotus pool in this garden is very popular and here one can see large green lotus leaves throughout the pool along with white and pink lotuses that have bloomed.
There is also a sitting room which has been given a traditional touch due to the mosaic of glass and glass paintings.
