When to visit
Sikkim is a beautiful state known as the Seven Sisters, having five seasons, which are, winter, summer, spring, autumn and monsoon. Amongst these seasons, summer and autumn are the best time of the year. Summer is from April to June, an ideal and a perfect time to trek and catch a glimpse of the blooming orchids and rhododendrons growing in the region. Sikkim is one of the rare states in India receiving regular snowfall, though is prone to landslides during the monsoon season from July to September. September to December are also ideal month to explore Sikkim. Home to beautiful lakes, monasteries, wildlife, adventure sports and hill stations, you won't run out of activities quickly.
