Coimbatore International airport is an international airport which is situated in Peelamedu and serves Coimbatore. Initially known as the Coimbatore Civil Aerodrome or the Peelamedu Aerodrome, it is 16 kilometers from the city center. This airport has one terminal with another terminal under construction. With a runway of 9,760 feet, the airport can accommodate other airlines like Airbus A330, Boeing 747 and many other airlines.
