Madurai is an awesome place to enjoy and relax! Foods in Madurai are cheap and exceptionally tasty! Do not forget to try really unique foods such as : idly in murugan idly kadai, Kari dosai at konar mess, nandu omlet at Amma mess and Jikarthanda. Transportation is sufficient but sometimes it is really frustrating to travel to remote locations. Meenakshi Amman temple and many other historical sightings are a must visit. Also regionally high quality silk item can be purchased at Madurai. Try the "Jasmine" flower, as the city is know for its special kind. Chennai's economy has a broad industrial base in the automobile, computer, technology, hardware manufacturing and healthcare industries.
