There are very few bars or dance places in Madurai. Apollo 96 is one such bar that people like to visit, but the bar shuts down at around 12 am. Apart from this, Tamil Isai Sangam and Lakshmi Sundaram Hall are few places where cultural programmes are presented during night time.
