Better to book your room in Sagarmahal from Tripura tourism office at Swetmahal (beside Ujjayanta palace) before making the trip. Fullmoon is preferred.
Stay at least one night. Take private/public (lots available)/tourism conducted vehicle ... it is at Melaghar, about 60 km from Agartala. Enjoy boating in the night.
