Teliiamura located in west Tripura is a town and nagar Panchayath. It is on the National Highway no: 44 of India. Monsoon season is the longest season, which continues between the months of May and December. During June the state receives the maximum rainfall. The maximum and minimum rainfall is 2855mm and 1811mm respectively. Tripura provides excellent opportunities for eco friendly tourism and different wild life sanctuaries. Trishna Wild Life Sanctuary and Sepahijala Wild Life Sanctuary are the important wild life sanctuaries at Tripura. The highest hill range in the state is Jampui Hill which is situated about 200 km away from Agarthala is also an important tourist spot in the state. Ujjayantha Palace, Kunjaban Palace, Malancha Palace, Neermahal are some of the palaces constructed by the Former Maharajas in various sites of the state.
