India has many reason you should pack anti diarrheal medicine. The first is the infamous Delhi Belly. Second, the tap water contains bacteria and parasites. Third, Indian food is hot and spicy.
To Start the journey you will take the few things Still Camera, Water Bottle, Guide Book, Sunglass, Heat Small Bag with Neessary things,In the Main Entrance Gate of the Taj MahalAnd lastly, you are in the sun ALOT. Backpack and neck pouch (for cash and passport).
You will also take the Comfortable walking shoes, caps and raincoat Sunscreen, Wet Onlight backpack & flip-flop with socks, trainers with socks & tissue paper is a must, personal medicine.
Added with several rechargeable batteries for digi-cam.
Switch off your cellphone and keep it separated from your backpack since the security guards will not allow you cellphone to take in at Taj Mahal.
Out inside your backpack a sarung (my fave stuff anywhere i go :)) to protect your body from the heat, especially in summer. but baseball cap or umbrella also finees, antibacterial hand gel (clean without water), medication for diarrhoea and lots of bottled water in winters-(from december to february) woolens are must. from march to october cottons are the best bet.
Medical supplies etc are available in all the good hotels.
Do carry your cameras handycams with you with enough flash cards/memory stick/negative rolls. coz agra is full of picturesque beauty.
Mosquito Repellent especially for nights. I took mosquito net but it was impossible to use cause the ceiling are very high so forget it. You need lots of megas for your camera and also battery ... you will have your camera working 100% If you should run out of supplies, this shop is pretty comprehensive. You can also rely on this shop for change of currency carry sun cream during summers, it gets very hot during day times.
