The city of Bareily is located in the northern part of Uttar Pradesh State which in turn lies in the northeastern region of the India. The city of Bareily has a total area of about 168.5 square kilometers which is huge. Being located in the northeastern region of India the weather in this city is perfect for tourists in winters and is a bit warm in summers. The minimum temperature recorded here is about 4.5 degrees Celsius in January and February during the winter season and the regular temperature in this region is around 35 to 39 degrees Celsius in the month of March till June in the summer season. Winds from a huge water mass namely The Bay of Bengal bring rainfall to this city in the months of June to August. Even though the city is big in size, it comprises of beautiful landscapes. It is a developed city with most of the population employed. The population dwelling in the city of Bareily is counted out to be around 6, 99,839 people according to the 2001 census. The population density is very high in this city.
