Aminabad is a central bazaar of the city which serves a wide variety of customers. The traditional feel of Lucknow can be readily felt at Nakhhas and Chowk, which are based in Old Lucknow.
Hazratganj area is famous for window-shopping. Chikan stores in Janpath and Chowk, Tondans and Seva are the best places for shopping freaks. One can get world-renowned embroidered stuff, which is a specialty of Lucknow and is part of the small-scale industry of Lucknow.
Sheer variety of Chikan clothing is simply mind-boggling. One can get kurtis, kurtas, sarees and other dress material here. Sahara Ganj is a relatively a new mall in the town which apart from selling all the usual stuff also contains a multiplex, fast food joints and more.
Other such mall-cum-multiplexes can be found at Gomti Nagar (East End Mall), Fun republic and Riverside.
