The Nawabs of Lucknow were famous for eating beetle leaves. Close to the K.D.Singh Babu stadium and below the State Bank of India headquarters, there is a famous shop that sells these leaves.
It is important to purchase water of brands like Aqua, Ganga or Bisleri. The tap water may lead to infection as well as things meant for eating or drinking that are open on stalls should be avoided.
During the visit to Lucknow, it is advised to relish the “chat” which has to be eaten at the Kapoors. Other eatables worth trying are paratha and Tundai kabab.
