The Tollygunge Club is situated in Tollygunge which is a southern suburb of Kolkata at a distance of 9 kilometers from the center of the town and a 20 minutes drive from Chowringhee Road.
This club was established in 1895 over an area of 100 acres to promote all sorts of sports. This club has an 18 hole 71 par (6628 yards) golf course that is available on hire.
There are six hard courts for lawn tennis where the games can be booked with the Tennis Marker. There is one outdoor swimming pool that is open throughout the year as well as a covered swimming pool.
Regarding riding there are horses and ponies in the morning and the afternoon where a riding instructor offers lessons from 6 am to 8 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm. There are also four squash courts and two billiards tables on the first floor.
In the Club House one can find the Bridge room.
