Lombok, a city in Indonesia, boasts of the best beaches and landscapes in the world. With a population of around 3,000,000 residents, Lambok is a relatively unexplored place, rich with culture.
The city is characterised by a tropical climate with two main seasons: the dry season which lasts from May to September, and the wet season from October to March. At times, however, the climate can also be extremely humid. The tourism industry is at its peak from May to August.
In the nineties, the local economy suffered due to various reasons like civil unrest; however, in the recent time, it has bounced back to an active state. The population lives a productive life with most of them involved in agriculture and handicrafts.
