Bali is a great place. The locals are very sweet and accommodating. HOWEVER, the traffic is not good. Spent hours waiting in traffic due to construction on the bypass between Kuta and Sanur (had 2 very minor accidents - one taxi hit us from behind, no damage but still. A small toyota took out our side mirror, he didn't want to share the road - cost us nothing but glue). Who starts a construction project during the rainy season?? (I have a p/t home in Nusa Dua so I'm stuck in traffic if I ever want to go ANYWHERE.) 2 lanes turned into 6...really as the Balinese have no sense of order in traffic. Motorcycles always go to the front of the line and plug up the intersections as well as weaving in and out of traffic. two lanes always turn into 3 or 4 at intersections. People drive on the wrong...

This was such a great activity. We were collected and driven to breakfast with a stunning view of the volcanoes and lake. Then off we went for our ride (wear sunscreen!!!). The locations we rode through and villages we saw were beautiful. I hadn't been on a bike for about 20 years but it was easy enough and the guides were so helpful. We were able to take it at our own pace and the ride finished with a delicious lunch over looking beautiful rice fields. The whole team involved with Bali Hai were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this tour for anybody who is keen for a pleasant ride in a beautiful area of Bali.
