Yogyakarta has an airport which receives domestic flights from Bali and Jakarta
as well as direct charter flights from other countries.
It is geographically situated almost at the same distance from the two most
important international gateways of Indonesia, about 1000 kilometres from Bali
and about 600 kilometres from Jakarta.
There is a tropic climate and the daily atmosphere feels hot and humid. There
are only two seasons; the wet and rainy season and the dry monsoon. The annual
precipitation average is about 1900mm. The annual average temperature is about
26°C and 28°C (the minimum is 18°C, the maximum 35°C) and the
annual humidity average reaches 74% with a minimum of 65% and a maximum of 84%.
