Tourist Guide Orumiyeh
The city of Orumieh is located in the North West province of Iran. This city is the capital of the West Azerbaijan Province. It is located at the coordinates of 37.33 N and 45.06 E. it is a highly populated city with a population measuring 577.307 as measured in a recent census. It is situated on the banks of the famous Lake Urmia. The land of Orumieh is very fertile and this makes it as one of the leading producers of apples, grapes and tobacco. This city is divided into five divisions for political purposes. This city has very beautiful water bodies and also numerous visiting sights. The city is also called as the land of museums. The climate here can be extreme sometimes. The rainfall in this area is high and lasts up to four months. There are many beautiful lakes, museums and mosques situated here. It is one of the top ranking educational centres with some of the best Islamic Universities located here.
