Tourist Guide Rasht
The city of Rasht is a historical place found in the north western part of Iran. This city is the largest region that is based on the Caspian Sea coast. This city is also called as the 'Gate of Europe' because this city's development led to the growth of business with Europe. It is located at the coordinates of 37.17 N and 49.35 E. it is a highly populated city with a population measuring 560,123 as measured in a recent census. The majority of the population here speak the typical Gileki language. Unlike the other cities of Iran, this city specialises in production and high industrialisation. Due to high amount of humidity present here, the old buildings have worn off and are now being replaced by tall skyscrapers. This city has tremendous beauty and also numerous leisure sites like commercials and malls. The climate here is very humid and the rainfall here is very high. There are many beautiful lakes, shrines and tombs situated here. It is one of the top ranked educational centres with some of the best Islamic Universities located here.
