The Ashkelon National Park is a major excavation site and a popular tourist attraction. It is home to many ancient constructions; the most prominent being the sculpture garden where visitors will find several Roman statues apart from the ancient ruins.

The Ashkeluna Water Park is the most famous water park in the city. Located near the Delilah Beach, it offers various water activities for the visitors to enjoy; picnic grounds, a cafeteria and lounging areas are available at this place.

Another favoured site by the tourists is the Ashkelon Beach, attracting national as well as international tourist traffic. The beach houses many restaurants, pubs, an amphitheatre, museums, fishing spots and much more.

For history lovers, the Ashkelon Khan and Museum is a must-visit. Tracing the history of the place with artefacts and relics from the past era, it also houses a café and an art gallery and hosts regular exhibitions, concerts and shows.
