Beside the numerous shopping possibilities, markets, beaches, restaurants and active nightlife Tel Aviv is also the country’s biggest cultural center and offers museums, galleries, theatres and concert halls.
Tel Aviv is well connected to Israel’s most important centers and the
rest of the world by rail, road, ship and air.
The city is Israel’s most important manufacturing center owning about
50 percent of the country’s industrial plants.
Industries include chemicals, textiles, metals and engineering products, vehicles,
furniture and wood products, food processing and so on. But Tel Aviv is also
an important location for banks and insurance companies. The two main high education
centers of Tel Aviv are the Bat – Ilan University and Tel Aviv University.
