Beer Sheva (also called with the name of Beersheba) is an important locality of the State of Israel.
It lies into desert of Negev, of which it’s the largest and most representative town. Actually, someone is used to call it as the Capital of Negev.
Beer Sheva used to be an Arabic town before the foundation of the State of Israel in 1948, so that the history of the city has always been very eventful.
Today Beer Sheva is a modern city, whose economy is most dragged by public industry : IDF (Israel Defence Force), the Ben Gurion University and the Soroka Medical Centre.
