Tayelet is the paved beachside walkway which offers a two kilometers path between Jaffa and Tel Aviv. The walkway is decorated beautifully with a swirly design which can be seen prior to landing into the Ben Gurion airport. The boardwalk is a perfect place to hang out with family and friends. During the summer season, the place has many visitors and even at 0300, it bustles with crowd. Off peak hours and in winters, it is nice place to jog and stroll. Tayelet is the perfect place to go for swimming, and to lounge on the sand. It is always packed with people enjoying the beach fun or an evening street performance in the summer.
