Saitama: Attractions and more...
John Lennon Museum was established with the objective of preserving knowledge regarding musical career and life of John Lennon. It houses Yoko Ono’s, i.e. his widow’s collection of memorabilia along with the other displays. This museum was opened on 9th of October, 2000; i.e. Lennon’s 60th birthday. On entering the museum, one would find a ‘welcome message’; followed by short film which is narrated by ‘Yoko’. The visit to the museum ends with a ‘slide show’ featuring images and moving words. The visitors can also shop at the ‘gift shop’ that is available.
