The National Museum Of Nature and Science is situated in Ueno park, Tokyo. The museum has had several names in the past including Tokyo Museum, Ministry of Education Museum, and Tokyo Science Museum. Renovated first in the 1990s and then in 2000s, the museum exhibits a number of natural history exhibitions as well as interactive scientific experiences. It also displays on Japan’s pre-Meiji science. The displayed collections comprise of wax and other models of Japanese flora, engineering and scientific equipment, and machinery of historical interest.
