Chiyoda is one of the 23 special wards in central Tokyo, Japan. The ward is famous for its number of parks including the East Imperial Garden, a park opened in 1968, housing the castle tower and the outer defensive portions of the former Edo Castle with flowers year around, Kitanomaru Park, a large park with ample greenery housing Tokyo’s central sports and cultural facilities and the National museum of art, Chidorigafuchi Boat Arena and Chidorafuchi Moat Path, a perfect destination for a nice stroll throughout the year especially during the spring season when cherry blossom bloom. One can also enjoy boating in the moat, National Diet building Park, a western style park with the parliamentary museum, clock tower and Japan Water Level Bench Mark Respiratory. Some can visit the Hibiya Park, the first western style park of Japan with variety of facilities including open-air concert halls, the Hibiya-Public hall, restaurant and a tennis court, Imperial Palace Outer Garden, a popular part of Around-the –imperial Palace jogging course as well as tourist site in Tokyo.
