Opened in 1967, Yoyogi Park or Yoyogi Koen is known as one of the largest city parks in Tokyo. It comprises of ponds, wide lawns and a vast forest area. This park is well known place for jogging, for picnic and also for other outdoor activities. The park offers a rich nice cherry blossom view during the spring time when the cherry trees bloom. The park is also known for the ginko tree forest, which turns golden during the autumn season.
