As people in the city love shopping, one can find some of the best shops of the world here. Tokyo is known for its electronic items equipped with modern technology: Ginza and Shinjuku are the best places to buy them.
Also, look out for the underground shopping area at the Shinjuku station. Traditional handicraft items and exclusive Japanese products like good luck charms, swords and kimonos are to be found in the International Arcade.
For trendy and fashionable clothers shopping, see Uniqlo. Accessories are best found at Garret. Takeshita-dori is a narrow street famous amongst youngsters who go there to update on the latest fashion and buy in the various boutiques available.
