Edogawa is one amongst the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. The ward was founded with a merger of seven towns and villages. It has many sites worth exploring for tourists and visitors such as Edogawa race course and Edogawa Stadium. Edogawa Stadium is one and only multi-purpose stadium of its era in Japan. The stadium can have a seating facility of 20,000 and is mainly used for football. It also features a broad running track for track and field events. Kasai Rinkal Park in Edogawa includes an aquarium and bird sanctuary. The 117 meter tall Diamond and Flower Ferris Wheel was opened at the park in 2001. It is a perfect place for spending an enjoyable time with family, friends and children under cherry trees in bloom. Edogawa is accessible by train or by bus. It is facilitated with the transportation facility by East Japan Railway Company, Tokyo Metro and Keisei Electric Railway.
