Aqaba is renowned for its beach resorts, water sports like wind surfing and scuba diving as well as the abundant aqua life. The city lies on the edge of the Red Sea giving it an exotic and alluring natural landscape.

The Aqaba Archaeological Museum located next to the Aqaba Castle is home to a significant collection of artefacts from Ayla dating back to the Umayyad and Fatimid periods. The artefacts include ancient inscriptions and gold dinars.

The Aqaba Marine Park consists of two public beaches which come with all the essential amenities. The park offers water sports and beach activities which are popular with the tourists.

Wadi Rum is known for its mystic landscape which is surrounded by huge limestone mountains which change colours from pink to red to beige with the setting sun.
