Jordanian cuisine draws much from other Arab cuisine, including Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian. The national dish here is Mansaf. It is a lamb preparation served with rice and a rice broth. Traditionally, a Bedouin dish, it is prepared on all special occasions.
