By Taxi: In Kuala Lumpur, there are two kinds of taxis - metered and non-metered. The metered taxis are usually cheaper that non-metered taxis. For the first 2 kilometers the fare is RM 2 and 10 sen is charged for every 200 meters thereon. An add-on charge of 50% is imposed if traveled between midnight and 6:00 am.

- KTM Komuter train operates services from the Kuala Lumpur railway station to selected points within the city as well as to places like Seremban, Port Klang, Kajang and Rawang.
