Kuala Lumpur International Airport is regarded as one of the major aviation hubs of Southeast Asia. This airport is also known as the main international airport in Malaysia. This airport can handle 35 million passengers and around 1.2 million tons of cargo. Built in 1998, the airport serves West Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur. Operated by Malaysia Airports Sepang Sdn Bhd and is the home base for Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, MASkargo and AirAsia X.
