Perdana Lake Gardens or simply Lake Gardens are beautifully landscaped gardens in the city of Kuala Lumpur.
The park is the "green lung" of the city. The park covers a huge area of 92 hectares. The attractive feature of the garden is the neatly cut, manicured plants. During 1880s, this park served as the British State Treasurer Park.
It comprises of several specialty parks like Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Butterfly Park, Orchid Garden, Deer Park and Hibiscus Garden. Nature lovers will find this place to be a paradise.
The bird park in Lake Gardens Park is the largest park in Asia. Visitors can see hundreds of varieties of attractive bird species. Similarly, Butterfly Park houses more than 6000 species of butterflies.
Seeing thousands of butterflies flying around is a heavenly experience. The adjoining Orchid Garden consists of numerous varieties of Orchids. This is an ideal venue to relax in the midst of lush green surroundings.
