Brickfields is a small town as well as a residential neighborhood situated outside the central Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This wide thoroughfare hosts a large number of Indian stores and restaurants run by Indian community of Malaysia. Brickfields is a home to many attractions that catches attention of large number of tourists every year to Kuala Lumpur. The century old Young Men’s Christian association is one of the landmarks of Brickfields. The Vivekananda Ashram is one of the most charming spot to be in. Brickfield is famous for its delectable south Indian food.
One can also give a try for visiting the Temple of fine arts, situated along Jalan Berhala. Various courses are offered here relating to south Indian music, arts and dance. The various religious buildings in Brickfields including 100 years old Jalan Berhala, a Buddhist Maha Vihara Temple, the Arulmigu Sree Veera Hanuman Temple as well as the Sri Sakthi Karpaga Vinayagar Temple are also worth visiting.
