Bukit Gasing is a quaint park in the centre of Kuala Lumpur’s urban jungle. Bukit Gasing is spread in a vast area of hundred hectares and hence provides a perfect setting to hike, stroll or walk. The ground at the entrance of Petaling Jaya is popular amongst the tai-chi enthusiasts as well as exercise buffs. It is the most popular tourist destination amongst those who loves nature and enjoys bit of bird watching. The highest point of Bukit Gasing is at 160 meters that gives a panoramic view of both Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. One can enjoy the huge forest with while viewing the beautiful greenery with large tropical trees and woody herbs. The park has an open access. The best time to visit this forest park is from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm. The park has no entry fee as well as free parking facilities. It is a perfect place to visit on weekends with friends in Kuala Lumpur.
