Sri Pogyatha Vinoyagar Moorthi Temple is one of the oldest temples in the country of Malaysia. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Vinoyagar. The deity can be recognized with its elephant head.

This God is also known as Ganesg in Malaysia. The temple is located on Temple Street or the Jalan Tokong in Melaka. Other ritual sites like temple of Cheng Hoon Teng and Mosque of Kampung King are at close proximity from this temple.

The key features of the temple include its colorful exterior. The temple was constructed by the Hindu people in Melaka in 1780s. The back room of the temple consists of the idol of Lord Vinoyagar.

This idol possesses the head of elephant and man's body with 4 hands. The temple also consists of a portion dedicated to the Lord Muruga, who is brother of Lord Vinoyagar. The temple comprises of neat and clean interior without much of decoration.
