Lightweight cotton clothing is best for your visit to Penang as it gets quite hot. T-shirts, shorts and comfortable walking shoes are fine for sightseeing. Don’t forget to carry an umbrella along especially if you are visiting Penang between March and October as the place receives heavy downpour during these months.
