As the name suggests, Tropical Spice Garden houses exotic varieties of tropical flora. This lush foliage is spread across an area of 8 acres. The Tropical Spice Garden is located at the Lone Crag Villa, Jalan Teluk Bahang in Penang State of Malaysia.
This unique garden comprises of more than 500 varieties of the tropical plants. The whole area is divided into three major sections. There are dedicated trails to reach to these jungle terrains.
One of the trails is known as Spice Trail. Here visitors can view more than 100 types of herb and tropical spice plants. These plants are used in perfumes, dyes and medicines.
Visitors can get hands-on experience of traditional spice grinding here. The Ornamental Trail is located in the central part of the valley. Have a look at the magnificent varieties of flora, which are chosen based on their structure and stunning ornamental flowers.
The third trail is known as Jungle Trail. This enchanting jungle is dotted with peculiar jungle flora, palms, wild orchids and streams bordered with ferns.
