A masterpiece of ethnic workmanship and arched corals is the Huskuru Miskiiy Mosque. The walls and the panels display intricate Arabic inscriptions. A minaret and a cemetery are also a part of this mosque.
The National Museum, located in Sultan Park, is a stylish colonial construction which houses a variety of artefacts from the earlier days, giving an insight into the history and culture of the place.
