Yawnghwe is an eastern region situated in Myanmar, Burma. One can reach this destination either by car, bus or plane via the airport in Hejo, situated around a one hour drive away.
There are many travel spots which are quite interesting to explore in Yawnghwe. Known as one of the oldest principalities of the Shan State, Yawnghwe offers several sites like the Inle Lake, Market Square, Pagodas, the Bagan Archeological Zone, Shwe Yan Pyay monastery, the Popa Taungkalat Temple and many more.
Also known as Nyang Shwe, Yawnghwe is a tourist hub worth visiting for its historic background and scenery.
