When it comes to food, North Korea has barely a variety to offer; sea food and eggs are most widely and easily available. Unlike most other nations in the world the population here is not diverse. Thus, most food that served in all the restaurants is almost the same.
Alcoholic drinks are easily available and are inexpensive. Insam-ju, a drink made from Korean Vodka and ginseng roots, is a local speciality and is worth trying.
