A two hour city tour of Khasab takes one on an adventurous tour to the capital of Musandam, Khasab. This is a quiet and peaceful oasis and village which overlooks the Straits of Hormuz and the Gulf of Arabia. The newly renovated Portuguese Fort of Khasab is another tourist attraction of the tour. This fort has a museum displaying a number of Omani handicrafts. The neighboring village of Qadah is also included in this tour and one can watch the camels, ships and prehistoric rock carvings.
