Hyderabad is located in Sindh District of Pakistan.
The city was founded in the year 1768 by Ghulam Shah Kalhoro after the ruins of Mauryan fishing village along the bank of Indus River. Before the separation of Pakistan the city was also known as Paris of India, as its road were washed with rose water and sandal wood incense.
After the death of its founder the city was ruled by Mir Fateh Ali Khan Talpur who left his capital Khudabd and made this place his capital. Talpurs ruled lasted for more than 50 years and after that the talpurs faced the threat from British rule and they lost the city and the rule came under the hands of British.
This city has a rich cultural heritage and that can be reflected in the museums and cultural centers that are present in the city. There are also literary work that are present in one of the museums that dates back to early Sindhi text.
Hyderabad experiences an extreme climate where the days are hot and nights are cool and breezy.
The population of this place comes to 4,399 according 1998 census.
