Karachi offers a plethora of options with its various beaches, beautiful museums, theatres, performances and shopping arenas. The Mohatta Palace Museum and National Museum of Pakistan are the most noteworthy museums.

The Maritime Museum displays an enigmatic collection of old submarines, ships and heavy artillery. An impressive attraction is the skeleton of a whale preserved for the visitors.

The National Arts Council conducts musical performances and poetry recitations. The annual Kara Film Festival is renowned for featuring Pakistani as well as international cinema which mainly includes films and documentaries.

Manora Beach, Clifton Beach and Seaview are the most popular beaches in Karachi offering water sports and good restaurants. Karachi is also home to various shopping malls like the Park Towers, Forum, Millennium Mall and Dolmen Mall.
