Geological Survey of Pakistan houses country's largest museum of Earth Sciences at its head office Sariab Road Quetta.
It comprises seven thematic galleries. Rocks, mineral, fossils, gemstones, meteorites and building and decorative stones are on display in this geological museum. One gallery is dedicated for pictures of Quetta earthquake of 1935. Admission is absolutely free. Prior appointment with Museum Curator recommended to avoid disappointment for large groups.
