Quezon is a vast city with much
diversity and at its center lies the Quezon memorial where the interration of
the late president took place. It is a monument made of complete marble and is
the largest man-made structure in the city. Surrounding the great monument is a
Quezon Memorial Circle
which runs a stretch of 2 kilometers. There is a very important commercial
center called the PeoplePowerMonument.
Next to it is the Araneta center which is a huge shopping complex spread up to
35 hectares of land. For entertainment reasons a collection area called the Araneta
Coliseum was constructed to hold musical concerts, wrestling matches, games and
even circus shows. It has a huge capacity of seating 50,000 people. This city
is often talked about for having a rich night life. The Cubao and the
Bagumbayan areas are considered to be the hippest areas suited for party animals.
A church named Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is also much
respected here.
