Quezon City: Attractions and more...

Quezon is a vast city with much diversity and at its center lies the Quezon memorial where the interration of the late president took place. It is a monument made of complete marble and is the largest man-made structure in the city. Surrounding the great monument is a Quezon Memorial Circle which runs a stretch of 2 kilometers. There is a very important commercial center called the People Power Monument. Next to it is the Araneta center which is a huge shopping complex spread up to 35 hectares of land. For entertainment reasons a collection area called the Araneta Coliseum was constructed to hold musical concerts, wrestling matches, games and even circus shows. It has a huge capacity of seating 50,000 people. This city is often talked about for having a rich night life. The Cubao and the Bagumbayan areas are considered to be the hippest areas suited for party animals. A church named Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is also much respected here.
