Tourist Guide Leyte
Leyte Island is situated to the Visayas group of the Philippines and measures almost 180 km to the north-south of Philippines.
This island is frequently mountainous and forested, with the valley to the northeast having agriculture.
Leyte, at present, is prominent for the geothermal electric power plants that are situated near to Ormoc. Moreover, the place is also famous for its role in the World War II.
There are many interesting sights worth visiting here like the Leyte Landing Memorial, Lake Danao, Calanggaman Island, the San Juanico Bridge, which is known as the longest and the most magnificently designed bridges in the Philippines.
