Tourist Guide Mandaue City:

Mandaue is a city situated in the province of Cebu in Philippines. It is a metropolitan city and covers a total area of 34.87 km². The city is connected to Mactan Island with 2 bridges namely, the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and the Mactan Cebu Bridge. The city lies on the coastal plains of the province and has an average elevation of 16.8 meters. The city is surrounded by the Mactan Channel on the east, Cebu City North Reclamation on the south, Barangay Banilad on the southwest, municipality of Consolacion on the north, and Barangay Talamban on the northwest. Mandaue City has a total population of 318,575 inhabitants as per the 2007 census. The Mantawi Festival is celebrated each year in the city on the 7th of May. The city is nicknamed as the ‘Furniture Capital of the Philippines’. Almost 40%25 of the export companies in Cebu are found in this region.

Vehicles fare is too expensive and the drivers are very tricky. There are many street children and standbyers every night in the side of the road. The roads is always stock with floods every time when it rains. There is no park or playground for kids.

Mandaue City is such a strategic location for Businesses. This City is a nice place to live in wherein airport, seaport, educational institutions and other institutions are present. Everything is accessible. Malls, churches, beaches, etc...

my home sweet home. Everything's so familiar, I know for most part the ins and outs of the city including its countrysides. The city is not that big so it's easy to roam around without fear to get lost.

We enjoy it a lot, some of a places in Mandaue have their own history and also Mandaue City comprehensive national highschool is one of very beautiful school in Mandaue.

Its nice in Cebu. Not dangerous and it safe for the visitors and the budget is not expensive.
