The best time to visit the Philippines is between December and May. The climate is cooler and drier, with no risk of typhoons. This is also the best time to experience the rich and colourful Filipino celebrations and fiestas.
Events and Entertainment
The Philippines has a number of festivals and celebrations taking place throughout the year. Independence Day, 12 June, is celebrated with a military parade. The Black Nazarene Procession takes place every year on 9 January. Large processions, carrying life-size black images of Jesus pass through the streets of Manila.
