Mecca has various sites of interest such as the Masjid-al-Haram, which is the holiest site in Mecca; the Mina, which is the site of the stoning of the Devil, and the Hill of Arafat, which was the site where Prophet Muhammad delivered his last sermon.
The Haram is a mosque at the centre of Mecca, which surrounds the Kaaba, a worshipping site which houses the Black Stone, believed to be a meteorite. Situated next to the Kaaba is the holy well, Zamzam, which is utilised for religious purposes. A market displaying silks, beadwork and perfumes is located outside the mosque.
The Jinadriyah National Festival is an annual festival which celebrates the culture and heritage of Saudi Arabia. It is a popular event featuring music, poetry and national dances.
Mecca has various other religious places for the visitors to visit like the Jabal Al Noor, which is of great historical importance, the Hudaibiyah and the Tanaem.
