Religion alone stands triumph when planning a visit to this great city. The entrance to this place can be done by any of the four gates; all of them are masterpieces of architecture. The Bab-al-Salam is the most beautifully created one. There exists a large rock on which there is built a large and magnificent castle whose beauty cannot be described literally. The Al-Masjid al-Nawabi can be found to the east of this part and is the exact replica of the main mosque at Mecca. Only Muslims are allowed to enter this city but there are also provisions for the non-Muslims on the outskirts of the city. The city is also home to some beautiful gardens and parks. There are several tombs of many saints that were followers of Mohammad. There are a number of ‘Madarsas’, which are learning centers for Islam. Nowadays many new and renewed developments are taking place throughout the city which combines well with the olden culture.
